Shop on Rodeo drive

“So I got my wits together, call my friend and walk into the store. I felt it would be a little easier doing this thing if I was on the phone with my closest friend so I didn't feel so much pressure. It's intimidating going into a store like that! I was greeted with hellos at the door, and I continued to walk around and look at all the merchandise. But as I went from to room to room, I felt someone following me and eyes constantly on me. I told my friend I better get off and I'll talk to her tomorrow. I turned around and it was one of the sales associates just glaring at me! I smiled and said hello and asked her if she can point me into the direction of where all the clothes were. She said, "Well you were just in that room so over there." WOAH. Automatically I felt super uncomfortable, so I said thank you and walked into the other room, AGAIN she followed me in there.”

“So yesterday my mom & I were invited by her lovely SA to an exclusive event showcasing the Spring/Summer 09 Accessories & Shoes. It started at 6:30 pm and ended at 8:30 pm hosted by Angeleno Magazine. It was invitation only and you had to be on the list to get inside since it was after store hours. We got there about 10 minutes before the start time and there were only about 10 people in front of us. There was a roped off line and a black carpet in front of the store where the line started. Talking outside for a short while, they opened the doors and started letting us in. As we got inside there was a girl checking everyones name off the list she had. We get inside and there are cocktails being served, waiters holding hor d'oeuvres, and photographers taking pictures.”
