Use social media or community boards to recruit members, establish regular meeting times and rotating routes. Start with easy paths and gradually increase difficulty as the group builds stamina. The accountability and social aspect make exercise feel less like work and more like hanging out with friends.

People who tried this
โI started it because I've lived in Ft Greene over a year and haven't really met a lot of people (in & out of nyc for the past 6 years and feels like all my friends left), also I WFH and by the time evening rolls around I've barely moved all day or interacted with another human. Looking for like minded individuals who want to move, connect and get fresh air. I've been trying this out for a couple of months now and I always end the walks feeling better than when I got there, I've also made a new friend which as an adult feels like such a win. It's slowlyyyy growing, but sometimes it can be quite lonely because very few people show up. Hoping it grows! Evolves! And makes others feel better.โ
