Alternative milks each bring unique flavors and textures - creamy oat milk froths beautifully for coffee, nutty almond milk works great in cereal, and rich cashew milk makes amazing smoothies. Try them in different contexts since some work better for drinking while others shine in cooking or baking.

βAt first pour, the oat milk was noticeably thicker than others Iβve tried over the years. As an oat milk stan, I simply love to see it. The thicker consistency sets this drink up for a delectable froth, which is probably why the barista army swarms to it. Wow, this sip was criminally oat-y β but thatβs definitely not a bad thing for a latte-loving gal like me. It was also sweeter than I expected, which also grants this plant-based milk some taste-testing points.β
βWhen pouring the oat milk, I was a tad disturbed. The milk looked very watery and the color was very off-white with a tan hue. When it came to flavor, it tasted oaty? Which is of course to be expected because it is oat milk. At the end of the day the oatmilk was fine but not milky enough for my liking. Interestingly enough, I have tried different brands of oat milk that Iβve enjoyed way more than this so it may take a couple trips to the grocery store until you find your milk of choice.β
βOkay, so I preferred this to hazelnut. It tasted slightly more normal, and not so nutty and off putting in tea which was a big win. My iced coffee tasted relatively normal too. This alternative with porridge though made me put it above Hazelnut. It tasted so similar, and knowing it was lower calories was such a bonus.β
