β€œI know this might be an unpopular opinion, but after spending 12 nights in Seychelles (Mahe 3 / Praslin 3 / La Digue 6), it ended up being a pretty expensive disappointment for us. ... La Digue was… meh. Ironically the most promoted island, but we found it underwhelming. The beaches are basically unusable after ~10am because of low tide, then usable again only after ~6pm. That kills the whole β€œparadise beach day” idea. ... Online you see perfect shots from a very specific angle. What you don’t see: roads, crowds, tides, currents, prices, and logistics.”

β€œWe visited The Seychelles in October of last year, We stayed on the main island of MahΓ© for a week and spent a day visiting Praslin and La digue.Overall my experience was really good, the people were very friendly and welcoming, and the general vibe was really calm and relaxed. The beaches were the best i've seen and for context i've been to The Maldives, Mauritius, Bali, Thailand, Goa, etc. so pretty much all the major beaches in the Indian Ocean, a few in europe, and the United States (i've never been to South America). ... The most beautiful sunsets ive ever seen were from Beau Vallon beach”

β€œEarlier this year (February) I was on my solo-travel journey and without any plans or expectation I ended staying 2 weeks in Seychelles (Mahe, Praslin, La Digue) and I loved it sooo much - the beaches are amazing, the sea is mesmerizing and the nature in general is out of this world. ... It’s still so untouched, non-commercialized, clean, very few tourists, sometimes you can have all the beach for yourself.”
