I posted yesterday about how awful the ferry ride was from St. Barts to SXM seriously, if you get seasick even a little, skip it. I may never get on a boat again. But I was asked to share more about our stay at Cheval Blanc, and I’m happy to, because it was amazing. We stayed for a week in one of the Beachsuites with a private pool looking out over the beach—absolutely beautiful. It was our second time in this exact room and we love it. The food on the island is always great, and Cheval Blanc definitely lived up to that. We've stayed at Le Toiny before (also a gorgeous spot and we love the owners) among others, but after this trip we’ve decided Cheval Blanc is where we’ll always stay going forward. The service is fantastic. yes, it’s French, but not at all cold or stiff.
