Drive a campervan across Iceland

“We drove the ring counter-clockwise as there were orange alerts the opposite direction. First 2 days we drove under yellow alerts due to wind. it required active driving - paying close attention constantly. Besides the wind, there is barely any shoulder, free range sheep, tourists abruptly stopping to consult maps & we also came across both sheep & cattle drives.”

It just took some time to relearn using the gear stick with my right hand. I rented a Happy 3 EX because I wanted something I could stand in and not ruin my back and the size ended up being fine (although next time I'm definitely getting something smaller, the happy 3 feels like driving a school bus and acts like a kite in the Icelandic wind).”
