Iceland offers otherworldly landscapes from massive waterfalls and geothermal hot springs to glaciers and volcanic black sand beaches, all easily accessible via the Ring Road. Winter brings the northern lights and ice caves, while summer offers midnight sun and lupine-covered highlands - either season provides incredible photo opportunities and unique natural phenomena you won't find anywhere else.

βAround 8pm, I went to Seljalandsfoss and Gljufrabui. Gljufrabui was awe inspiring and I had it all to myself. I felt like I wanted to cry (happy tears) standing in front of it. It was that beautiful and it made me feel so alive feeling the water and force against my face.β
βKatla Ice Cave Tour at 10:30am - another INCREDIBLE, unreal experience. Before coming, I heard that this ice cave was not worth visiting in the summer but omg - I have to completely disagree. Going offroad to Katla, walking through the ice cave, seeing the glacierβ¦during this whole tour, I felt so lucky to be experiencing it.β
βHaving a full day without plans I decided to drive east past Hofn and see what I could find. It was one of those days where the complete lack of wind makes everything reflect perfectly across the sea, the snow was sparkling and my camera was begging to be taken for a spin. After driving for thirty minutes I realised one thing was very different already. There was no one else around. Most of the main tourist sites are west of Hofn but once you start venturing further to the east, the traffic numbers drop dramatically making it feel like itβs just you and the vast landscapes of Iceland for company.β
