Deepen your meditation practice by incorporating natural sounds, fresh air, and the grounding presence of trees, water, or open sky that enhances focus and reduces mental chatter. Find a quiet spot away from foot traffic where you can sit comfortably for extended periods, using nature's rhythms like wind patterns or bird songs as meditation anchors. The outdoor setting often produces more profound relaxation than indoor practice while strengthening your connection to the natural world.

βOn Sunday I was attending a yoga event (for the world yoga day) which started at 6:30 am with a 30 minutes guided mindfulness meditation session. We were at a park near the sea and by that time there were almost no cars and people going by. So for the first time I meditated in the nature and the only sounds around me were the wind in the trees, seagulls and birds chirping, and water. This experience was unique and beautiful, at the end I felt so good, complete, whole, connected and so emotional that I almost cried!β
βToday i went out to meditate. Of course, i didn't sat cross-legged, i didn't close my eyes, etc. Because i didn't want to get embarrassed. Even though the session wasn't very deep compared to the ones i have at home, it was AMAZING nonetheless! I felt, for the 1st time, like i was connected to the world, i don't know how to explain it, but i felt in one with the trees, with the pigeons, with the wind, with the ground...β
βI was so acutely aware of the βlightnessβ and ease I felt after each session that I committed to going every Saturday morning. Even after a late Friday night, I somehow wake up Saturday morning and head to the park to meet the group. Even if I feel like skipping, coming up with a creative range of excuses to justify that, I get up and go. And every time, Iβm glad that I did.β
