βI think for me itβs the low light flicker that helps. I donβt like pitch darkness when Iβm winding down but my Kindle warm backlight doesnβt do it lol. Iβm not one to light it before bed but I will when I get home from a stressful day and my husband and son arenβt home. I love anything citrus and I despise floral scents so itβs been tricky to find anything.β
βThere's something about having a candle next to you, let alone one that smells like cinnamon cookie, that's so comforting. I used to think scented candles were overrated but now I 110 percent the hype now. My candle has been "on" for almost 24 hours (most of it is gone) and I just feel more relaxed with it by my side, even if it did't have a smell.β
βThey absolutely do help me relax. I consider it aromatherapy which is very real. I work a super stressful job and take care of both of my sick, elderly parents at the same time. It's such a relief to light a candle and try to take a few minutes at the end of the day to myself to relax as much as I can.β
