Enjoy this fast-paced racquet sport that's easier on the joints than tennis but requires quick reflexes and strategic shot placement. The shuttlecock's unique flight pattern creates exciting rallies, and you can play singles or doubles in your backyard or at local courts. It's an excellent cardiovascular workout disguised as fun.

People who tried this

โ€œThis is not my first time playing badminton, it's just the first time I'm playing in an actual court with the net. I watched some badminton on TV, I just thought, how hard can this be? Just hit the shuttlecock over the net, innit? I played with my grandmother, who is 70 years old. She won over me 2-0. Humiliating defeat, I know, as I'm only a teenager. I pushed myself so hard yesterday (and still lost), with me waking up today with muscle ache all over my body. God damn it.โ€

โ€œBut in truth, although I've dabbled in padel for beginners recently, I hadnโ€™t given much thought to badminton until a family holiday this summer when my dad popped up with the same rackets my brother and I used back in the day. We improvised a net with a line of outdoor chairs in the back garden and enjoyed rally after rally over the week. It was basic but it did the job and even in this simplistic form, badminton brought much joy to three generations of family. The experience also reminded me that badminton makes a great workout as there's little time to pause.โ€
