βSo here is the thing - I've been meditating ever since 2014 or so. I did it occasionally, usually 3-4 times per week, about 10 minutes per day. As you can imagine, the early beginnings were pretty hard, and I didn't get much out of meditation. Or so I thought. [...] But recently, I finally decided to do a 30-day experiment and meditate every single day for min. 15 minutes. To make it easier, I followed Joe Dispenza guided meditation. The very first days very easy, but it was getting harder and harder. At some point, I wanted to give up, but I didn't. Days later, I started understanding the real power of meditation. I felt calmer, more present, and happier.β
βIβve always had a very active mind. I really canβt think of many times in my life where my brain hasnβt been going a mile a minute. So being able to sit with a clear mind for a few seconds, let alone a few minutes, felt impossible. But as someone who suffers from pretty bad anxiety, I finally decided it was worth a shot. I was going to commit to trying it for a month. [...] I started out with just five minutes. Even so, Iβd be lying if I said that my first few sessions werenβt a bit of a struggle. My concentration was pulled to other things quite easily, and although Iβm used to sitting cross-legged on the floor for yoga, I found it difficult to do so without moving for the entire length of my meditation practice.β
