โToday I meditated for 20 minutes and while I was there, trying to only think about my breath and keep my posture, I remember thinking it was lasting forever, like I was there for almost an hour. [...] When I stopped the session, immediately after I stopped, I felt like I was there for 5 minutes or less. I have no idea how this works because I cronometaded it and it was 20 minutes.โ
โToday I meditated for about 20 minutes and towards the end of the mindfulness session I felt as if I was simultaneously being cradled by the universe and as if I was the Universe. I still felt and was aware of my psychical body but it was like everything was together, just extensions of myself. Even my body felt like one part of an infinite whole. I tried not to cling to the experience as it faded after meditation, and let it go.โ
โSo I've been meditating for a little over a week now I do it every night maybe half an hour before I go to sleep and I've mostly been doing 5 minute sessions which I read online was too short for real meditation and to do 20 minutes to start with and at first I thought that would be too difficult at this point but I figured I would at least try and so i did, but what was strange was it felt like almost the same length as when I meditate for 5 minutes and I was really surprised it was over already, progress I guessโ
